2009 Recap: Ashland made the NCAA Division II playoffs in back-to-back seasons after going 12-4-5 in 2009. AU also won the GLIAC Championship for the first time since 2005. The Eagles lost in the first round of the NCAA tournament to Lewis, 2-1, in overtime. Lewis went on to lose in the national semi-finals.
